A Little About me
Hi, I’m Cheyenne, the heart and soul behind Grow-Create-Share.
My journey toward this work has been anything but linear. It’s been a wild journey- from having grown up around healthcare and nursing, to experiencing a significant amount of trauma, including the loss of my firstborn child at 17, sexual assault, homelessness, joining the military and losing my second son in the process. Plus chronic health issues like ADHD, anxiety, depression, autoimmune dysfunction, connective tissue disorder-EDS, digestive disorders-IBS, GERD, anorexia, bulimia, hormonal imbalances due to PCOS, and the lifelong effects of chronic stress response leading to cPTSD resulting in overtaxation of my nervous system. I spent a significant portion of my life running from my darkness, unable to breathe if I let myself feel it. Just going through the motions feeling lost and broken, shoving it all down and away.
Yet, from a young age, I have always felt a calling to help others, a desire to ease suffering and empower those in need. To save the unsaveable. Probably because I know what it feels like to be so lonely and independent while hurting. I initially envisioned a career as a trauma nurse, but life had other plans. My path led me through unexpected twists and turns—medical field burnout, military service, physical and emotional challenges, grief and loss, growth, herbalism, and ultimately the birth of my last child, my daughter.
It was through my own struggles with chronic illness, postpartum depression, a lifetime of trauma, and a profound awakening during ketamine therapy that I truly began to understand the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. Ancient wisdom traditions, herbal medicine, and modern science converged, illuminating a path toward holistic well-being.
Driven by a deep desire to share this knowledge and empower other women who have lost their way, I created Grow-Create-Share This platform is a culmination of experiences, research, and an unwavering belief in the human capacity for healing and transformation. It is my honor and privilege to empower women, particularly mothers, to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, and holistic wellness.
Grow Create Share is meant to serve as a guide on that journey, offering all the wisdom, insights, community support, knowledge and resources, I have. Free of charge, experience and wisdom are to be shared.

Understanding Chronic Inflammation: A Journey Back to Balance
Inflammation is the body’s natural defense mechanism, a vital response to injury or infection. However, when inflammation persists, it can become a silent disruptor, leading to a cascade of negative effects on our health and well-being. Chronic inflammation can damage cell structures, impair communication between cells, and disrupt essential cellular processes. Our unique genetic makeup plays a crucial role in how our bodies manage inflammation, influencing our ability to produce antioxidant enzymes and regulate detoxification pathways that eliminate toxins.
When cellular processes are disrupted, a domino effect occurs. Malfunctioning cells struggle to perform their vital roles, impacting surrounding tissues and organs, and leading to widespread imbalances. This shift from a state of harmony (homeostasis) to one of ongoing adaptation (allostasis) and if not balanced in a timely manner can increase the allostatic load and pave the way for chronic disease. By understanding the intricate interplay of inflammation, genetics, and cellular function, we can empower ourselves to make informed choices that support our bodies’ natural healing abilities.
Over the years, we have conducted extensive independent research in addition to what we have learned through formal education. As we continue our journey towards wellness, we have discovered that many diseases and disorders may share a similar root cause—a cascade effect resulting from cellular dysfunction. This dysfunction is often driven by cellular inflammation and improper function, which can lead to structural and functional changes in the body. While the specific causes of inflammation or physiological dysfunction can vary—such as trauma, accumulated toxins, lifestyle factors, inherited traits, and epigenetics—understanding how your body functions and recognizing its needs for optimal health is essential.
At Grow-Create-Share, we guide you to explore these connections, providing tools and resources to reduce inflammation, restore balance, and cultivate lasting well-being.
